How to test a stator on atv.
I have the service manual and have tested the 3 main yellow wires coming from the stator. All have continuity with each other and are well within the service limits. Also, none have continuity with ground (stator body). I can't find anything else in the manual that has to do with testing the stator or IPG.

May 9, 2012 · Should be over 14v at idle. Will jump to 15v plus when you rev the motor. If it is high 12v at the terminals the stator is basically dead. If it is in the 13v it's underperforming.
